MORE than 80% of bedridden patients in Subang Jaya have been vaccinated under the mobile home-to-home Covid-19 vaccination program carried out by the Malaysian Red Crescent Society.
Since the program started on July 13 in Subang Jaya, the MRCS team has been carrying out the vaccination of bedridden patients, including family members in the same house who had yet to receive an appointment for their vaccination.
“This programme really meets our MRCS objective of leaving no one behind in all our efforts. Ensuring the vulnerable are adequately protected against the virus is a humanitarian imperative,” said MRCS National Chairperson, Tan Sri Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz Almarhum Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah.
The MRCS team also had assistance from ADUN Subang Jaya Michelle Ng’s office.
