Persiaran Tujuan Crash: Driver Dies, Passenger Survives

SUBANG JAYA, OCTOBER 21 2024: The driver of a Toyota Corolla Altis which hit the road divider barrier and turned turtle along Persiaran Tujuan died while his passenger escaped with light injuries.

The vehicle the husband and wife were travelling in lost control along the SS19-USJ2 bound stretch of Persiaran Tujuan.

Subang Jaya Fire & Rescue Department fire chief Syed Shahril Anuar Syed Sulaiman said the unit received a call at 1045am and were on site within 5mins.

“Bomba personnel who arrived at the scene found the vehicle upside down in the middle of the road.”

“We had to pry open the door with a power unit to get to the driver and bring him out for medical assistance,” he said.

Syed Shahril said the deceased was 76.

Paramedics from Subang Jaya Community Ambulance with the help of a doctor who was at the scene did their best to stablise the driver but failed. The wife of the deceased who was the passenger escaped with light injuries and was attended to by paramedics from Sg Buluh Hospital.
