SUBANG JAYA – Police have widened their investigation into the brutal killing of a college student in USJ2, with 30 individuals including family members, friends and neighbours already interviewed as authorities work to uncover the motive behind the grisly crime.
Subang Jaya district police chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the probe is still ongoing, with investigators scrutinising the victim’s mobile phone records and combing through CCTV footage from the neighbourhood.
“No suspects have been identified yet. However, we can confirm that the deceased did not have a boyfriend,” he said, adding that five more individuals are expected to be called in for questioning soon.
Wan Azlan stressed that police are leaving no stone unturned in the investigation.
