IF you are making plans to travel away from home during this Chinese New Year holidays, don’t forget to consider signing up with the police “Balik Kampung, Rumah Selamat” campaign.
Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said police personnel will be on duty to visit and check on registered homes for this Chinese New Year whose owners and occupants might be away for the festival.
“If you are joining the balik kampung exodus this holiday, don’t forget to sign up for the initiative. We will have personnel check on your homes regularly while you are away.”
“Ops Selamat/Ops Cegah Jenayah will involve frequent and regular patrols to homes which are registered with us during festivals,” he said.
