SS19 Food Court Opens for Business

THE much awaited new food court in SS19 is open for business.

Several operators had opened their stalls for business on Monday (Oct 7) while many others are expected to move in and start their operations soon.

Two Malay nasi campur stalls were doing brisk business with their wide variety of dishes for the picking. There’s also a nasi dagang stall which opens in the morning to noon.

The RM2.98mil total makeover of the food court along Jalan SS19/6 features 20 stalls with 90 parking lots; toilet facilities; surau; motorcycle parking bays as well as OKU parking space.

According to MBSJ, the remaining dilapidated stalls on the side will be demolished on Oct 15. Notice had been given to the operators at the old site to vacate.

The project which was expected to be ready last October is finally open.
