Mark your calendars, Subangites! Sunway Medical Centre (SMC) is once again championing community wellness with its Healthy Living Carnival 2026, happening this Sunday, 26 April 2026, from 10AM to 4PM at SMC Tower D Lobby.
Guided by the theme “Better Health. Better Life,” the carnival invites families, fitness enthusiasts, and health-conscious Malaysians to take practical steps toward better living — all in a fun, interactive and educational way.
With Malaysians facing growing challenges from lifestyle-related diseases like obesity, diabetes, and heart disease, this carnival is more than just a one-day event — it’s a timely reminder that prevention starts with awareness and action.
“Here at SMC, our commitment to the health and wellbeing of our patients and community is at the heart of everything we do,” said Tan Mei Shin, SMC’s Senior Director of Business Development and Corporate Communications. “Through our Health Carnival, we aim to empower Malaysians to strengthen their immunity, maintain fitness, and embrace a healthy lifestyle.”
Visitors can look forward to free health screenings and fitness assessments conducted by SMC’s Centres of Excellence — including blood glucose and cholesterol checks, body composition analysis, postural blood pressure tests, and even a Sit-to-Stand Endurance challenge to test those leg muscles.
Beyond health checks, the day will also be packed with interactive booths and mini challenges such as:
Lightning Reflex Challenge
Pickleball Challenge
Health awareness stations on cancer and hearing
Lucky draws and flash quizzes with exciting prizes
A Healthy Living Marketplace where you can explore nutritious snacks, wellness products, and lifestyle tips
On top of giving back to the community, Sunway Medical Centre continues to achieve international recognition — being ranked once again as Malaysia’s Top Hospital in the Newsweek World’s Best Hospitals 2026, and bagging multiple awards at the Healthcare Asia Awards 2026, including Hospital of the Year (Malaysia) for the fifth time in a row.
Whether you’re looking for expert advice, fun fitness activities, or just a meaningful way to spend your Sunday — the SunMed Healthy Living Carnival promises a day of insightful discovery and community togetherness.
