Sunway Pyramid Rolls Out “My Christmas Story”

SUNWAY PYRAMID INSPIRES A MAGICAL, WHIMSICAL FESTIVE SEASON WITH A STORYFUL CHRISTMAS  

It’s the most wonderful time of the year – and Sunway Pyramid is beckoning all shoppers to bring their Christmas stories to life this season of giving and togetherness.

From now until 1 January 2024 at Sunway Pyramid, be prepared to be transported into a world of wonder and happiness through the mall’s take on ‘My Christmas Story’, where every corner is a tale of excitement come to life. Each element, from the Christmas trees, to benches and even the titular character, Snowy the Snowman is constructed from giant books in line with the theme.

The highlight of the event is Snowy’s Winter Wonderland, hosted within Snowy features an experiential room full of frosty delights. Pack on the warmer wear as you can experience the cold of the winter season right here – it will even snow! To wrap up the experience, shoppers will be able to take photos inside to commemorate their time with Snowy, and have it printed to be placed inside a specially designed card sleeve to decorate.

Shoppers who intend to make their own version of Snowy to take home can do so at the snowman origami booth in the concourse, and skincare purveyor Innisfree as well as UOB will have booths present for customers to shop at and enquire from.

Every weekend also brings more fun and enjoyment for shoppers – this begins at the newly renovated Orange Entrance that has been completed in time for the season. Standing tall to beckon shoppers in is a giant 30 ft tall Christmas tree, decorated with bold and shiny baubles, ribbons and festive décor! From Friday to Sunday evenings including Christmas Day, make your way to the entrance to enjoy Joyful Snow Time with a special snowing experience at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm respectively. Get your cameras at the ready to capture magical shots of yourselves and loved ones amidst the frosty flakes cascading from the ceiling, or simply twirl around to your heart’s delight!

On selected Saturdays there will be Christmas performances where those present can sing along to their favourite tunes. Santa Claus will also be making an appearance on selected Sundays to bring that extra ounce of cheer to all present in the mall.

Christmas Performances – Dec 2, 9, 16, 23 (3pm to 5pm) and Santa Claus Appearance – Dec 3, 10, 17, 24 and 25 (3pm to 5pm).

The element of sustainability is also present across the concourse, with 30% of all festive décor across Sunway Pyramid and Sunway Malls being sourced from recycled material, some of which have also been reused from previous years’ campaigns. This is part of the malls’ dedication to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs) to ensure that each action taken has a sustainable element for a greener future.
