THE body of a senior citizen was found in the lake at Taman Subang Ria at 8.21am this morning.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) station chief Syed Shahril Anuar Syed Sulaiman said the station received a call at 8.15am of the discovery and immediately rushed over.
The senior citizen who is believed to be in his 80s was fished out of the water by firemen.
“The victim has yet to be identified but is Malaysian Chinese. He was spotted by park users before they called us.”
“We have handed over the case to the police for follow-up,” he said.
Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat who was contacted said police suspected no foul play in the case.
“We have sent the body to the hospital for a post mortem to determine the cause of death,” he said.
