UPDATES from Michelle Ng, ADUN Subang Jaya
My office, Air Selangor and community leaders worked very hard from Friday to deliver water to residents. Reports from community leaders indicate that water is recovering. That said, advice from Air Selangor is that some residents may experience air locks or burst pipes. We are told that this happens when there is no water flow, and then water recovers. If that happens to you please call Air Selangor at 15300, or inform your Resident Association or Rukun Tetangga representatives.
That said I must state my position that the perpetrators of the last two episodes of pollution must be brought to justice. I have made this clear to the Menteri Besar and YB Charles Santiago, the Chairman of SPAN. What happened over the course of the last 4 days cannot and must not be taken lightly.
