Snatch Thief Nabbed at SS14 Market

SUBANG JAYA, JULY 21 2019: A male suspect was nabbed by members of the public after he tried to snatch a handbag from a female victim at the SS14 wet market  along SS14/2A this morning.

From eye-witnesses account, the suspect was on a motorcycle passing the busy market stretch. His attempt to snatch the bag from the female victim caught the public’s attention when the victim fell and screamed for help.

Members of the public immediately set their sights on the suspect and successfully apprehended him before calling the police for help.

Officers arrived at the scene minutes later to make the arrest.

It is understood the female victim was injured in the scuffle.
