Subang Jaya Police Ready for Nomination Day

NOVEMBER 4 2022: Subang Jaya police are ready to ensure a peaceful and smooth Nomination Day tomorrow (Nov 5) for the Subang Parliamentary seat at Kompleks 3K in SS13.

Subang Jaya OCPD Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said police personnel and Subang Jaya City Council officers were ready to handle the nomination day operations.

“Everything’s ready and we are confident everything will run smoothly. All three candidates vying for the Parliamentary seat have been briefed on how to conduct themselves and their supporters at the venue.”

“Supporters who will be accompanying their candidate are advised to behave themselves and not provoke supporters from other parties,” he said to SJECHO.

Wan Azlan said areas had been marked out for the respective candidates’ supporters outside Kompleks 3K and they are advised to stay within the space.

“Let’s have a good outing tomorrow supporting the respective candidates. Let’s not provoke one another.”

“Supporters are also advised to follow the instructions of the authorities on duty and also not obstruct traffic as Kompleks 3K is located just beside Persiaran Kewajipan, which is a heavy traffic road,” he added.

At 9am tomorrow, candidates vying for the Subang Parliamentary seat in GE15 will be submitting their nomination papers to officials from the Elections Commission.

At Press time, incumbent Subang MP Wong Chen will be seeking reelection; while Dr Kow Cheong Wei (MCA-Barisan Nasional) and Alex Ang H.N.(Gerakan-Perikatan Nasional) are the challengers.
