Record 96 Emergency Cases in April

THE Subang Jaya Community Ambulance emergency services hit a record high of 96 cases for April.

According to SJ Beacon acting president TH Teoh, the record high number of emergency cases attended to showed how important it was for the ambulance service to continue serving the community.

“Cases we received range from road accidents, medical emergencies like heart attacks, shortness of breath, fall and even strokes.”

“Throughout the pandemic, our team has also backed up the Ministry of Health to attend to cases of deaths at home. Our paramedics respond to these cases to confirm that the patient had passed on, something which government ambulances do in normal times,” he said.

Last month, the ambulance service received contributions from:

  1. Guan Di Temple Bandar Sunway – RM5,000;
  2. MPP MBSJ Zone 1 – RM2,000; and
  3. SS15 Hexagon Rukun Tetangga – RM1,000.

All contributions go towards the running of the ambulance service across Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya and USJ.
