TWO senior citizens were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in from SS19 towards Bandar Sunway along Persiaran Tujuan skidded and turned on its side.
The incident which took place just after midnight, according to Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) station chief Syed Shahril Anuar Syed Sulaiman occurred just before the underpass from Persiaran Tujuan towards the New Pantai Expressway.
“The female driver was trapped in her seat and Bomba personnel worked swiftly to remove her from the vehicle. The male passenger managed to get out of the car on his own.”
“Both suffered light injuries from the accident. They were both handed over to the ambulance team which had arrived at the scene,” he said.
