Washing Cars for a Good Cause

AUTOMATED car wash facilities have reduced our routine of manually washing our cars. And so it was a pleasant surprise last month when a group of youths decided to grab their buckets, hoses and soap to wash cars manually for a good cause.

On Malaysia Day, a group of youths from Leo Club of Subang Jaya Alumni (Omega) & Lions Club of Subang Jaya combined their efforts with the SS14 Rukun Tetangga to carry out a special car wash session to raise funds for charity and also for their own club.

Residents from all across Subang Jaya and USJ drove their cars up for a wash in support of the initiative. Part of the proceeds of the car wash will be channelled to Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Subang Jaya.
