Multi-racial Contest for N.31 Subang Jaya in Upcoming Polls

IT will be a three-cornered multi-racial contest for N.31 Subang Jaya in the upcoming State polls in Selangor.

Incumbent ADUN Subang Jaya Michelle Ng who is seeking a re-election will be facing Perikatan Nasional’s Gana Pragasam Sebastian and MUDA’s Zayd Shaukat Ali in a “muhibah” contest.

At 10.40am, the constituency’s returning officer Mohd Fauzi Mohd Yatim who is also Subang Jaya’s Mayor made the official announcement of the election candidates at the nomination centre at Kompleks 3K, SS13, Subang Jaya.

Meanwhile, Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat reminded candidates as well as their party machinery to adhere to the guidelines already provided by the authorities when conducting their two-weeks campaign.

“Candidates have been briefed on the do’s and don’ts during the campaign period. Please abide by the rules.”

“Sensitive topics during campaigning especially on the 3R subjects are totally not allowed,” he said.

Wan Azlan also reminded those attending the various ceramah to be on their best behaviour and not get carried away.
