As the first rays of dawn painted the sky over USJ, MBSJ’s freshly appointed MPP Zon 3 Councillor Christopher Joseph wasted no time diving into community service.
Armed with vibrant mandarin oranges, angpow packets from the ADUN Subang Jaya office, and festive CNY decorations, he and his team of volunteers brought early morning joy to residents at USJ11/2 Park and the bustling USJ10 Taipan Market.
“It’s all about starting the Year of the Horse with prosperity and unity,” Christopher beamed, handing out oranges symbolizing good fortune.
Beyond the festive handouts, the outing doubled as a heartfelt meet-and-greet. Residents shared their concerns from park maintenance to market improvements and Christopher listened intently, promising follow-ups. “This is just the beginning. I’m here to serve and make our zone shine,” he said.
In true Subang Jaya spirit, the dawn delight set a prosperous tone for the Lunar New Year celebrations ahead. Gong Xi Fa Cai to all our readers – may your Sunday morning be as sweet as these oranges!
